2007 12 20 . telefonon kerestek - a szépmuvészeti múzeum elotti térség szintalatti hasznosítását tervezi a vezetoség - turisztikai központ, kiállító terek, szolgáltatások stb.
kértem 5 percet. nem könnyu döntés.
gondoltam, schickedanz majd segít. elovettem a schickedanz-kiállítás katalógusát. volt benne egy könyvjelzo - felcsaptam - a szépmuvészeti terveit jelölte... eldöntve!
általában nem jut idom az egyetem és az iroda mellett semmire /adjuk még hozzá az esztergom-budapest napi ingázás 3-4 óráját/. így aztán nem igazán érteni, miképp sikerült a schickedanz-kiállítást megnéznem. de ott voltam és lenyugözött. persze fel sem merült bennem, hogy valaha is idot töltök majd egy fejlesztést célzó terv mellett.
2008 01 03 . a harmadéves közép jegyeket zártuk le. igazán felszabadító nap volt. aggódtunk az utolsó konzultáción - vajon összerakhatók-e a féléves tervek a fennmaradó ido alatt, értékazonos lesz-e a feldolgozás, a prezentáció. az lett. jó tervek születtek, jó jegyekkel honorálhattuk a féléves munkát. a tanári csapat már több éve változatlan: selényi gyuri és bártfai tamás törzstagok. a nap végén, búcsúzásnál jutott eszembe a szépmuvészeti tervversenye. gondoltam már korábban rá, hogy adandó alkalommal saját magunkon is kipróbálhatnánk a harmadéves módszert. ami persze nem egy titkos fegyver. olyan, mint egy kártyaparti, ahol évek óta hetente egy délután összejönnek a klubtagok, és minden esetben megpróbálják meglepni a társakat valami új taktikával. mi is így találkozunk, és jókat beszélgetünk a hallgatókkal az adott tervfázis nehézségeirol, szépségeirol, ötletelünk, ki hogyan folytatná a megkezdett gondolatot, a félig meghúzott vonalat. elofordul, hogy elokerülnek példák a nagyvilágból, azokat elemezzük, vagy a mindennapi gyakorlat a téma. de szinte mindig hatékonynak könyvelheto el a közös elmélkedés - szóval ezt kellene kipróbálni élesben. nézzük, hogy muködik, amikor magunkat kell helyzetbe hozni!
megállapodtunk, és végül gyuriékkal /ildikóval, ádámmal, gabival, balázzsal/ nekiláttunk. minden nap, a friss állapotot kiterítve konzultációt tartottunk - egymásnak. nagyon hatékonynak bizonyult, és igazán jó ízunek.
2009 03 10 a tengeralattjáró . mi történik, ha a bélelés önálló életet él? különös tárggyá válik, kinövésekkel /periszkópokkal/, karokkal, felhasított nyílásokkal.
ha így nézzük, akkor az üvegkocka tömörré válhat /a béllet anyagából formálódik/ és bevágások könnyíthetik fel /ha vágás, akkor akár megyik is lehet - vagy andersen/.
ez persze sok mindent átír!
az üvegkocka is a béllet részévé válik, mint ahogy a mélyudvar térfalai is homogénné, egynemuvé válhatnak.
és ha a bélés fehér /gipsz, ko, bármi/, akkor másképp áll a téren /akár dávidként, fehér márványból faragva, a városháza kofala elott/.
vágatlanul - makettek, vázlatok, renderelt képek, gondolattöredékek. valamennyien a magunknak szegezett kérdések tétova válaszai: rajzolva, megépítve, megfogalmazva - és a keresgélések, kísérletezések végén mindig ott a lezárt, rendezett, véglegesített, vállalt terv: a tervjavaslat, az engedélyezési terv, a tender terv.
20 12 2007 . i had a phone call - the board is planning to utilize the underground space in front of the museum of fine arts - tourism center, exhibition halls, services, etc.
i asked them to hold on for five minutes. It is not an easy decision.
i thought schickedanz could help. I took out the catalogue from the schickendanz exhibition. there was a bookmark in it - i opened it there - at the plans for the museum of fine arts. that settles it!
i usually don't have time for anything other than the university and the office /add to that the 3-4 hours of commuting between esztergom and budapest every day/. so it's hard to understand how I found time to go see the schikedanz exhibition. but I went and i was enthralled. of course I would have never thought that i would spend time on a development plan ever.
03 01 2008 . we just finished third year first semester grades. it was a truly liberating day. we were worried during the last consultation - can the course projects be finished in the remaining time, will the presentations be on par? they were. some good designs were made, and we were able to reward the semester's work with good grades. the group of teachers has been the same for several years: gyuri selényi and tamás bártfai are regular members. at the end of the day, i remembered the museum of fine arts design competition. i had the idea before that we could try the third year process on ourselves when the opportunity presents itself. which of course is not a secret weapon. it is like a game of cards, where members of the club come together every week for years, and each time they try to surprise their peers with new tactics. this is how we met, and discussed the difficulties and beauties of their designs, and tossed around ideas on how each half-finished idea and half-drawn line could be continued. at times examples from all over the world were analyzed, or everyday practices were the topic. but almost every time we came away from the group brainstorming sessions having accomplished something - so this is what we should try in a real life situation. let's see how we do when we have to advise ourselves!
we agreed, and got started with gyuri's group /ildikó, ádám, gabi, balázs/. every day we held a consultation on the fresh developments - to each other.
this proved very effective, and also fun.
10 03 2009 the submarine . what happens when the inner lining takes on a life of its own? It becomes a special object, with outgrowths /periscopes/, arms, torn openings.
Looking at it in this way, the glass cube can become solid /shaped from the material of inner lining/, and could be made lighter by notches /and become megyik or andersen/
this of course rewrites a lot of things!
the glass cube becomes a part of the lining, much like how the brick walls of a lowered courtyard can become homogeneous, uniform.
and if the inner lining is white /plaster, stone, anything/, it takes up space in a different way /like david, carved out of white marble, in front of the stone walls of city hall/.
uncut - models, drafts, rendered images, incomplete ideas. they are all tenuous answers to the questions we ask ourselves: drawn, built, written - and after the exploration and experimentation there is always the closed, organized, finished, owned design: the design proposal, the permit design, the tender design.
