    a városi tájkép csoport feladatának tartja annak elosegítését, hogy az emberek szeme kinyíljon a design irányába, hogy észrevegyék a körülöttük található vizuális környezet milyen hatással van mindennapi életükre. ezért tartanak fontosnak minden olyan munkát, amely alkalmas arra, hogy közvetlenül, direkt módon tudja megszólítani az embereket.
    az elsosorban formatervezéssel foglalkozó design iroda alapítói, szöllossy barbara és pyka zsolt, 2001-ben együtt végeztek a magyar iparmuvészeti egyetem, formatervezo szakán.
    a 2004-ben alakult városi tájkép csoport, a gas de france nemzetközi design pályázaton 2. helyezést eléro, móricz zsigmond körtéri meleg kavicsokkal vált ismertté a szakma, valamint a budapesti lakosság körében.
    ezt követte számos nagy hordereju projekt. a városi tájkép csoport nevéhez fuzodik a mind a szakma, mind a nagyközönség körében nagy sikert aratott designkonténer elnevezésu szabadtéri design kiállítás, a kossuth téren 2007. augusztusában megépített auditérium, mint nemzetközi szinten is egyedülálló technikai megoldásokat alkalmazó speciális dallampark. a csoport rendszeresen vesz részt építészekkel együttmuködve tervpályázatokon, mert vallja, hogy a város közterei, nem csupán közlekedési funkciót látnak el, hanem a városi ember számára ugyanolyan életterek, mint saját otthonuk. a 2007-es kossuth téri ötletpályázaton, két építésszel közösen létrehozott tervük II. helyezést ért el. a design csapat legutóbbi munkái: budapesti tavaszi fesztivál 2008 köztéri installációs elemeinek tervezése és kivitelezése, sanghaj 2010 tervpályázat /kiemelt megvétel, megvétel/, art-universitas program - sopron - élo mu, 2009 uszály strand.
    a városi tájkép csoport elsosorban olyan feladatokra fókuszál, melyek az élheto környezet kialakítását célozzák, ezért tartja kiemelten fontosnak a középületek, közterek átgondolt, emberközpontú megtervezését. munkáikat a kísérletezés, a különféle muvészeti és technikai, technológiai területek rendhagyó kombinálása jellemzi.


    



    the urban landscape group considers it its duty to open people's eyes to contemporary design, to help people notice the effect their visual environment has on their everyday life. this is why we value every piece of work that is able to immediately, directly speak to people. 
    the founders of this design studio which primarily focuses on industrial and product design, barbara szöllossy and zsolt pyka, graduated together at the hungarian university of art and design in 2001, in the Industrial and product design program. 
    the urban landscape group, founded in 2004, became known to the profession, as well as the budapest public after finishing second at the gas de france international design tender with the warm stones project on móricz zsigmond square. 
 numerous large scale projects followed. the urban landscape group is responsible for the highly popular - both with the profession and the general public - outdoor design exhibition titled designcontainer, the auditérium built on kossuth square in august 2007, and the special dallampark /melodypark/, with its unique technical solutions unseen internationally. the group regularly collaborates with architects on design competitions, because they believe that the public spaces of the city have broader roles than traffic functions, to the urban people they are just as important living spaces as their own homes. the kossuth square tender in 2007, which we created with two architects, won second place. the latest works of the design group are: design and construction of public installations for the budapest spring festival 2008, shanghai 2010 design tender /bought/, art-universitas program - sopron - siving art, 2009 barge beach. 
    the urban landscape group primarily focuses on projects that aim to create a livable, accessible built environment. this is why we consider the well thought out, human-centric design of public buildings and spaces highly important. our work is characterized by experimentation, and a unique combination of different artistic, technical, and technological fields.
