Salary: £24,047 - 30,319 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Full-time, permanent contract

Liverpool Biennial is looking to appoint a 
Curator to join the team. The Curator will work 
closely with the Director and Freelance Curator 
in the development and delivery of the Biennial 
exhibitions. They will also commission and curate 
works for a wide range of settings including the 
public realm.

The successful candidate will be a graduate, 
ideally with a Masters degree in visual arts, and 
will have 5 years' experience with large-scale 
events or exhibitions, as well as experience of 
working in an international environment. They 
will also have editorial experience and 
experience of managing publications.

Closing date for receipt of applications is noon 
on 12 January 2017. Interviews will be held in 
Liverpool in the week commencing 23 January 2017.

Liverpool Biennial is the UK Biennial of 
Contemporary Art. It presents a free festival of 
contemporary art from around the world that takes 
place across the city in public spaces, unused 
buildings and galleries. The Biennial is 
underpinned by a programme of research, 
education, residencies and commissions. Founded 
in 1998, Liverpool Biennial has commissioned over 
305 new artworks and presented work by over 444 
artists from around the world.
