Filme für das 19. exground filmfest können bis 
zum 1. August 2006 eingereicht werden
Einreichung auch möglich per Mausklick über die 
Internetplattform <http://www.reelport.com>www.reelport.com

Vom 17. bis 26. November 2006 findet zum 19. Mal 
das exground filmfest in Wiesbaden statt: In den 
zehn Festivaltagen werden rund 300 Kurz- und 
Langfilme sowie Videos zu sehen sein. 
Einsendeschluss für Filmeinreichungen ist der 1. August 2006.
Die entsprechenden Einreichformulare liegen der 
E-Mail an oder können unter 
<http://www.exground.com>www.exground.com als PDF-Datei heruntergeladen werden.

Filmemacher können ihre Arbeiten aber auch über 
die Internetplattform 
<http://www.reelport.com>www.reelport.com 
einreichen. Die Plattform wurde von den 
Internationalen Kurzfilmtagen Oberhausen 
(Deutschland), Festival Internacional de Curtas 
Metragens Vila do Conde (Portugal) und 
Filmfestival Göteborg (Schweden) gemeinsam mit 
dem Technologiepartner Telefónica Deutschland 
GmbH entwickelt und ermöglicht die 
Festivalanmeldung per Mausklick. Dabei werden die 
Filme per Upload auf den reelport-Server geladen 
ú und können bei einem oder mehreren Festivals 
eingereicht werden, darunter exground filmfest. 
Die eingereichten Filme werden auf dem 
reelport-Server archiviert und an die Festivals 
und Filmmärkte übertragen, wo Auswahlkommissionen 
sich die Arbeiten ansehen. Das spart nicht nur 
Kosten, sondern auch jede Menge Zeit.

Filme und Videos für exground filmfest können 
eingereicht werden in den Kategorien 
Hauptprogramm (American Independents, News from 
Asia, Dokumentationen, Internationale Lang- und 
Kurzfilme, Fokus Kanada) und Wettbewerbe 
(Deutscher Kurzfilm-Wettbewerb ú Publikumspreis 
Regie, dotiert mit insgesamt 6.000 EUR; 
Internationaler ON-VIDEO-Wettbewerb ú Jurypreis 
Regie, dotiert mit 1.500 EUR; Wiesbaden-Special ú 
Kurzfilm-Wettbewerb/Publikumspreis Regie, dotiert 
mit 500 EUR, und youth-days ú Internationaler 
Jugendfilm-Wettbewerb/Jurypreis Regie Langfilm, 
dotiert mit 2.500 EUR) in den Genres Spielfilm, 
Dokumentarfilm, Animation und Experimentalfilm. 
Die Filmeinreichung ist gebührenfrei.

Das Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden 
unterstützt den Deutschen Kurzfilm-Wettbewerb von 
exground filmfest mit insgesamt 4.000 EUR für den 
Sieger und den Drittplatzierten des 
Publikumspreises und stiftet die 1.500 EUR 
Preisgeld für den Internationalen ON-VIDEO-Wettbewerb.

Die ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH übernimmt die 
2.000 EUR Preisgeld für den zweiten Platz des 
Deutschen Kurzfilm-Wettbewerbs von exground 
filmfest: Der Preis der ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft 
wird in diesem Jahr zum vierten Mal vergeben.

Der "Wiesbaden Special ú Kurzfilm-Wettbewerb" ist mit 500 EUR dotiert. ú
Der "youth days ú Internationale 
Jugendfilm-Wettbewerb" ist mit 2.500 EUR dotiert 
, das Preisgeld wird von der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden gestiftet.

Films for the 19th exground filmfest can be submitted until August 1, 2006
Online film submission is possible via the 
internet platform <http://www.reelport.com>www.reelport.com

exground filmfest 19 will take place in Wiesbaden 
from November 17-26,  2006. During the ten days 
of the festival about 300 feature- and 
short-films as well as videos will be shown. 
Deadline for film submission is 1st August 2006. 
The relevant submission forms are attached or can 
be downloaded as PDF files at <http://www.exground.com>www.exground.com.

Filmmakers can also submit their work by using 
the internet platform 
<http://www.reelport.com>www.reelport.com. 
reelport is a joint submission platform of some 
of the most important European film festivals - 
developed by the "International Shortfilm 
Festival Oberhausen" (Germany), "Festival 
International de Curtas Metragens Vila do Conde" 
(Portugal) and the "Filmfestival Göteborg" 
(Sweden) in cooperation with the technology 
partner Telefónica Deutschland GmbH. You have the 
opportunity to upload your data and viewing copy 
only once to submit your film to one of the 
participating festivals, exground filmfest 
included. The submitted films will be archived on 
the reelport server and will be transmitted to 
the festivals and film markets where the 
committees will evaluate them. Not only does this 
method save money, but also a lot of time.

Films and videos for exground filmfest can be 
submitted in the categories: Main program 
(American Independent, News from Asia, 
Documentaries, international feature- and short 
films, Focus Canada) and contests (German short 
film contest - Audience director©­s award, 
endowed with EUR 6,000 in total; International ON 
VIDEO contest - Jury director©­s award, endowed 
with EUR 1,500; Wiesbaden special - short film 
contest / audience director's award, endowed with 
EUR 500 and last but not least, the feature film 
contest: youth days - International youth film 
contest - Jury director's award, endowed with EUR 
2,500 ) in the genres fiction, documentary, 
animation and experimental film. Submission of the films is free of charge.

The Cultural Department of the State Capital 
Wiesbaden sponsors exground's German short film 
contest with the sum of EUR 4,000 in total for 
the first and the third place and donates EUR 
1,500 for the International ON VIDEO contest.

ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH sponsors the second 
prize for the German short film contest of 
exground filmfest of the amount of EUR 2,000, it 
is the fourth time ESWE has supported young film 
makers. The "Wiesbaden-Special - Short film contest" is endowed with EUR 500.
The international youth film contest "youth days" 
is endowed with EUR 2,500 and donated by State Capital Wiesbaden.
