On behalf of the curatorial team of the 1 Moscow Biennale of Contemporary
Art  "Dialectics of Hope" it gives us great pleasure to invite you for the
opening at January 28, 2005 at 7.30 pm, at the former Lenin Museum (2/3
Revolution Sq., near the Red Square)

Venues: The main project will be realized at the former Lenin Museum (2/3
Revolution Sq., near the Red Square), Museum of Architecture (5a
Vozdvizhenka Street) and the metro station "Vorobiovi gori" (Red Line of the
underground transportation net). The working time is 11am - 8 pm except
Mondays. The metro station is open from 6 am till 1 am every day.

Program: The main project of the 1 Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art  is
accompanied by 24 special projects representing contemporary international
and Russian art and a wide parallel program. The projects are located in the
major state museums and exhibition venues around the center of the city.

The catalogue  will be published for the opening in two volumes - in English
and in Russian.
