International Symposium - International Art Practices

Nokia  Singapore  Art  (NSA)  is  a  biennial visual arts festival aimed at
displaying   the   latest   contemporary  art  developments  in  Singapore;
celebrating  the  diversity  of  visual  arts  practices  in Singapore; and
inculcating  an  appreciation  and  awareness  of  the  visual  arts  among
Singaporeans.

The NSA 2001 International Symposium is aimed at extending art dialogue and
exchange  and  will  explore  a  range  of  issues  relating  to curatorial
practices,  identity  formation,  and  the emerging cyberart scene in Asia.
Well-known  speakers  from  Singapore  and beyond will engage in discussion
over  six sessions in this three-day programme. (Sessions will primarily be
conducted in English.)

Jointly organised by the National Arts Council and Singapore Art Museum.

Registration required. 1-Day pass : S$10 or  3-Day pass : S$25.
