pillanatképek . 2008. oszi szemeszter . ELTE muvészetfilozófia szakos hallgatók a képzomuvészeti egyetemen
az elmúlt félév során a muvészetfilozófia tanszék hallgatói /kielégítve azt az óhajukat, hogy "valami gyakorlatiasabb" dolgot is szeretnének csinálni/, azt a feladatot kapták, hogy látogassák a képzomuvészeti egyetemen zajló órákat és a szabadon kiválasztott osztályokban szerzett tapasztalatokról rögzítsenek egy "pillanatképet".
a cél az egyetemen folyó muvészeti oktatás áttekintése, a muvészhallgatók munkájának megismerése, valamint a párbeszédbe kerülés kísérlete volt.
csak egy vázlatosan megadott, indító kérdéskör állt rendelkezésükre, de valójában a hallgatóra volt bízva, hogy "mit tud kihozni magából", hogy mi érdekli igazán, és hogyan tudja szavakba, kérdésekbe önteni azt, amit a muvészhallgatók muvészi kísérleteinek láttán, és válaszaiból fontosnak tart.
a részemrol kísérletnek szánt akció, kimozdítani a kissé "túl elméleti" oktatást az esztétikai tapasztalás és a muvészek munkájának valódi megértése irányába, - nem várt sikerrel járt. a hallgatók óriási lelkesedéssel, bár kissé bátortalanul vettek részt a munkában, /hiszen direkt magukra hagytam oket/, és számos interjút, elemzést és fotódokumentációt készítettek, amelyek remélhetoleg nemcsak nekem, de mások számára is érdekesek lesznek, hiszen meglepoen oszinték, nyitottak és komoly ambíciókról vallanak mindkét részrol. valójában az a finom érzékenység és tiszta kíváncsiság, amellyel egymáshoz közelítenek a legfontosabb és legmeghatóbb, a tudományos munka módszerének eltanulása és a muvészi beteljesülés késobbi feladat lesz.
a kísérlet részének tekintettem kezdettol fogva egy közös kiállítás létrehozását is, - a megkérdezett muvészhallgatók idei munkáinak bemutatását /prezentáció gyakorlása/ -, amelyre azonban csak most került sor. . budapest, 2008. április 10. . dr. kovács ágnes ELTE BTK
snapshots . fall smester, 2008 . students of philosophy of art at the hungarian university of fine arts /ELTE/
during the course of the last semester students of philosophy of art at ELTE /satisfying their aspiration to create "something more practical"/ were given the task to attend lectures at the university and take snapshots regarding their experiences at classes of their choice. the objective was to provide an overview of the education of arts at the university and the work of the students in an attempt to build a dialogue.
the students were only provided with a skechy preliminary list of questions, and, in fact, it was left to them "to work it out" according to their primary interest, and formulate a text and questions based upon the experiences they had over their encounter with the experiments and answers of art students.
the experimental project, which originally was intended to move away from the "overly academic" education toward a genuine understanding of the aesthetic experience and the working process of the artists, turned out unexpectedly succesful.
the students participated in the project with great enthusiasm, although a bit shyly /i intentionally left them to their own resources/, and created numerous interviews, analyses/reports, and photodocumentaries which hopefully will be interesting not only for me but also for others since they are surprisingly honest, open, with sinister ambitions on both sides.
as a matter of fact, the delicate sensibility and the sheer curiosity as they have approached each other is the most relevant and touching element, while learning the methodology of scientific work and artistic fulfillment remains a future task.
i've considered the creation of a group exhibit a part of the project from the beginning, however, the presentation of the current works of the art students interviewed could be realized only now. . april 10th 2008, budapest . prof. ágnes kovács ELTE division of arts and humanities
