a kiállítás a modern építészet két egymással összefüggo kutatási munkáját mutatja be, fókuszban molnár farkas életmuvével. a kutatás 10 éve kezdodött budapesten.
cette exposition présente un ensemble de travaux de recherches sur l'architecture moderne. il a été initié il y a 10 ans, à budapest, autour de l'oeuvre de farkas molnár.
the exhibition presents two interrelated research areas of modern architecture, bringing into focus the ouvre of farkas molnár. the research project started ten years ago in budapest.

az építész tanárainak adósa, tartozásával definiálja önmagát.
ez a viszony a mesterekkel más, kivételes. bár velük szemben is egyre no adósságunk, de ezzel párhuzamosan egy különleges, személyes kapcsolat is kialakul közöttünk. mestereink nélkülözhetetlenné válnak számunkra az átadott tudás és a munkánkról alkotott véleményük, elismerésük által.
az építész számára többféle mester létezik.
van, aki kérdéseinkre, munkánkra egyértelmu igenlés helyett új irányok felvetésével, a folytatás lehetoségével felel. o mindig tovább, egyre tovább visz bennünket abból a világból, amiben éppen vagyunk. bizalommal van irántunk és tudja, hogy képesek vagyunk tovább lépni, ezzel is elorehaladásunkat segítve.
a másik típus az, aki hisz a munkánkban és affelé terel bennünket, hogy merjünk még nagyobbat alkotni. biztosít bennünket bizalmáról és szóban is kifejezi munkánkról alkotott pozitív véleményét.
vannak olyan kiváltságos, viharos hatású pillanatok, mikor mindez egyszerre van jelen, amikor mestereink biztonságot nyújtó árnyékából hirtelen rivaldafénybe kerülünk, amikor minden lehetséges, amikor a párbeszéd is egyenlo felek között zajlik.
ezek a helyzetek kimondhatatlanul értékesek, végre kifejezhetjük irántuk érzett hálánkat, lehetoségünk van bizonyítani, hogy a belénk vetett bizalmuk nem volt hiábavaló.
számomra ez a kiállítás egyike ezeknek a pillanatoknak.
l'architecte se définit par les redevances qu'il acquiert vis-à-vis de ses professeurs. parmi ceux-là, des maitres émergent. Les dettes s'alourdissent mais des échanges particuliers se créent. ces personnes deviennent fondamentales, par le savoir qu'elles ont transmis, mais aussi par leur regard que l'on attire sur notre travail, comme une approbation.
il est plusieurs types de maitres pour l'architecte.
il y a ceux qui répondent à notre attente d'approbation par des ouvertures, induisant des continuités possibles pour notre travail. ces maitres-là nous tirent toujours plus loin, dans des univers au-delà de celui dans lequel nous évoluons. Ils placent en nous une confiance et une responsabilité aidant à notre dépassement.
il y a ceux qui croient en notre travail et nous poussent à lui donner un écho plus grand. ceux-ci opèrent sur le mode de la confiance affirmée, d'une approbation verbalisée.
il y a des moments privilégiés où tout cela se mêle / où notre place dans leur ombre, que l'on conserve comme une protection, éclate / où tout devient possible / où le dialogue d'égal à égal est. ces moments sont précieux, car ils sont la manière de leur dire notre reconnaissance et de répondre à la confiance qu'ils ont su placer en nous.
cette exposition est pour moi l'un de ces moments.
the architect owes gratitude to his or her professors and defines him-/herself by this liability.
regarding the masters the relationship is different, it is unique. although we feel more and more indebted to them, at the same time there is a special interpersonal relationship evolving between us. our masters become vital for us by the knowledge they transmit and by their views and appreciation.
an architect has different masters.
there is one who, instead of giving an affirmative answer in the positive regarding our work, replies by bringing on new directions and the possibility of carrying on. he always takes us further and even further from the world where we happen to be. he places his confidence in us and knows that we are capable to make a step forward - supporting our advancement this way as well.
the other type is the one who believes in our work and brings us to the direction of creating something bigger. he ascertains his trust towards us and emphasizes his positive opinion about our work verbally as well.
there are also certain privileged and tempestuous moments when all is present at the same time, when stepping out of the shadow of our masters that has provided security suddenly we find ourselves in the limelight, when everything becomes possible, when the dialogue takes place among equal partners.
these situations are ineffably precious, finally we can express our gratitude towards them having an opportunity to prove that their trust was not wasted.
to me this exhibit is one of these moments.
