PINEA is an Artist in Residence Program located

PINEA is an A.I.R. program for artistic research,
production, meetings and exhibitions. A place for
artists working in site specific projects whose
aim is to dynamically contribute to improve the
town, by involving the community in an active way.

PINEA aims to stimulate creativity through
interaction with the local environment, artists
and cultural institutions, and seeks to foster
cross-cultural relations between participants and
the local community.

STUDIOS & ACCOMMODATION:
PINEA art space is located in a 1 950' building
strategically located between the town's historic
centre and the local natural spaces as beaches,
pine forests and dunes. The shared Art Space can
accommodate up to three artists, and are equipped
with Wireless Internet Connection, three studios
/ bedrooms, two andalusian terraces (patios) for
meetings, relaxing and working, and library &
multi-space, a full equipped kitchen and three
bathrooms.
We offer to artists in residence the possibility
to live in their studios, which are provided with
single bed. The accommodation is not a rental
apartment, but a free courtesy for artists in
residence memberships. However,
artists-in-residence can opt to rent and pay by
themselves their own accommodation in a different
location (for example if they don't want to live
and work in the same space or if they want to be
accompanied by friends or relatives). Anyway, in
both cases, the artist-in-residence membership
