New York based artist Istvan Szil's "Pirate Vehicles" is featured at the
2012 Verge Art Fair at the Essex House, Miami,
held in conjunction with Art Basel Miami. The Pirate Vehicles
installation is based on the artist's "Leisure and Duty" concept.
It investigates the socio-economic factors and questions organic to the
relationship between industry, labor and consumerism
within the urban environment. The project is an artistic common
denominator of the city's utility services and tourism.
Various utility service vehicles piggyback platforms for unique routes
and sightseeing experiences.
