A magfizika tárgya, a radioaktivitás jelenségében megragadott különféle
részecskesugárzások és elemi transzformációk mind az univerzum, mind fejlett
civilizációnk kulcsfaktorai: alkalmazásuk a gyógyászattól a tömegpusztító
eszközökön keresztül az energiaellátásig terjed. E speciális szakértelmet
igénylő, rendkívüli lehetőségeket és veszélyeket magában rejtő
természettudományi diszciplína és a rá épülő iparágak képzőművészeti
értelmezéseit célozza egybegyűjteni tárlatunk a kortárs magyar termésből
válogatva.

A direkt vagy indirekt, pro és kontra tudatos állásfoglalásokat, vagy csak
verbalizálhatatlan érzéseket megfogalmazó alkotások spektruma nemcsak
megközelítésük nemében, hanem műfajaik tekintetében is igen széles.
Monumentális és egészen intim léptékű, szobrászati, festészeti, filmes,
drámai, intermediális és fotómunkák változatos sora képzi a RADIOSPEKTÍV
biztonságos anyagát.

A kiállítás a Nemzeti Kulturális Alapprogram támogatásával valósul meg.

Bring anything you think is radiating!


The subject of nuclear physics, the different particle radiations and
elementary transformations given in the phenomena of radioactivity are key
elements of the universe and also our developed civilization: their usage
range from medicine through mass destructive instruments to power supply.
Our exhibition aims to congregate the artistic interpretations of this
scientific discipline which offers extraordinary possibilities and dangers,
from selected contemporary Hungarian works.

The spectrum of pieces that formulate direct or indirect, pro and contra
engagements or only ineffable feelings range widely not only in the means of
approach, but in the genres as well. The secure material of RADIOSPECTIVE is
set up from a diverse series of monumental and outright intimate scaled
sculptural, painted, filmed, dramatic, intermedial and photo works.

The exhibition is supported by the National Cultural Fund.
