Petra Feriancova egy archívumot állít ki a Lumenben, melynek címe "A
teremtő". Az archívum 75 darab eredeti keretezett fényképből áll. A
különleges galambfajokat ábrázoló képeket nagyapja gyűjtötte 1948 és 1962
között, amikor egy a galambtenyésztésről szóló folyóiratnak dolgozott.

A kiállítás címe, "TEREMTŐ", a természetes szelekció törvényeinek eseti
felborulására hívja fel közvetlenül a figyelmet. Az emberi beavatkozást
vizsgálja, melynek következménye, hogy a természet törvényeit, az evolúció
alapelveit figyelmen kívül hagyásával rövid idő alatt új fajok jönnek létre.
"A teremtő" projekt ezért az ember túlélés és örök élet iránti vágyának
megtestesülése.

Petra Feriancova (1977) Pozsonyban él és dolgozik. Számos rangos
intézményben állított ki az elmúlt évek során (pl.: ISCP - New York,
Secession - Bécs, Trafó Galéria - Budapest, stb.)

Petra Feriancova is exhibiting an archive in Lumen, with the title: The
Creator. This archive consists of 75 framed photographs. These photographs
of very special pigeon-species were collected by her grandfather between
1948 and 1962, while he was commissioned to work on a publication on pigeon
breeding.


The title, CREATOR, immediately calls our attention to an incidental break
with the laws of natural selection. It observes the act of human
intervention, as a consequence of which, the laws of nature and the basic
principles of evolution are bypassed, and new species are created. The
Creator is a project that is essentially the manifestation of human desire
for survival and eternal living.

Petra Feriancova (1977) lives and works in Bratislava. She has been
exhibiting internationally in renowned venues. (e.g.: ISCP - New York,
Secession - Wien, Trafó Gallery - Budapest, etc.)
