A DOUBLE VISION amerikai intermédia performansz-csoport Ellen Smith 
Ahern és Lida Winfield közreműködésével e hét szombaton mutatja be 
munkáit, melyek a Flórián Műhelyben készültek. A Moving House Foundation 
támogatásával a csoport bemutatja kortárs tánc, audio-vizuális 
performansz és zajzenei munkáit is. A bemutatók pedig valós idejű 
animáció, mitológia (Buda és Pest tört...énete) tárgykörében mozognak, 
egyesül bennük a város archaikus és jelenkori látképe, a forgó 
Rubik-kocka, digitálisan mintázott hagyományos tánc.. A műhely részeként 
a DOUBLE VISION keresi az együttműködési, kísérletezési lehetőségeket a 
helyi kortárstánc / performansz-közösséggel. Misztérium mozgásban 
Budapesten, a Duna gyöngyszemén.

A DOUBLE VISION kísérleti tánc-, zenei és videóművészeti előadásokat 
mutat be, melyek a jelenkori kultúra állandó változásban lévő jellegét 
testesítik meg. A Sean Clute és Pauline Jennings által vezetett csoport 
elismertségét amerikai és nemzetközi viszonylatban a következő helyeken 
tartott bemutatóknak tulajdonítja az Egyesült Államokban: San Francisco 
Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Macworld Artists 
Salons, Merce Cunningham Studio; nemzetközileg pedig: Museumsquartier 
Wien (Bécs), Primo Piano LivinGallery (Lecce), Pécsi Tudományegyetem 
Művészeti Kar (Pécs), Institut Intermédií (Prague), Ionion Center for 
the Arts and Culture (Kefolonia, Greece), ProARTS International 
Choreography Platform (Brno), valamint CST Institute for Computer Music 
and Sound Technology + Tanz Akademie Zürich (Zürich).

United States based intermedia performance group DOUBLE VISION along 
with Ellen Smith Ahern and Lida Winfield will be performing works 
created at the Florian Workshop in Budapest. With support from the 
Moving House Foundation, the group will showcase works for contemporary 
dance, audiovisual performance, and noise. Premieres include the live 
animation, Mythology (Buda and Pest), in which the ancient and modern 
cityscapes merge, Rubik’s Cubes rotate, and digitally resampled Ugrós 
jump. As part of the workshop, DOUBLE VISION will also explore, 
experiment, and collaborate with the local emerging performing arts 
scene. Mystery is afoot in the Pearl of the Danube.

DOUBLE VISION creates experimental performances for dance, music, and 
video that embody the changing landscape of contemporary culture. Led by 
Sean Clute and Pauline Jennings, the company has distinguished itself 
both nationally and internationally. The company has presented work at 
the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 
Macworld Artists Salons, and the Merce Cunningham Studio.
