Call for Submissions- Art Project Proposals for the Visegrad Artist 
Residency program hosted by Communication Space Školská 28 in the year 2012

Deadline for submissions: 20. August 2011
Terms:  - January - March  2012
                April  - June 2012
                July - September 2012
                Oktober - December 2012


Civic association DEAI/Setkání  - Communication Space Školská 28 are 
seeking for submissions for art residencies in the year 2012. The call 
is opened for the long-term projects in duration of  3 months to artists 
and other creative individuals. We are looking for audiovisual, 
sound-art and participatory projects and/or projects which reflect local 
environment.

Selection jury
Projects will be recommended for acceptance by the artistic jury.

Conditions
The selected artists will be supplied by residential apartment, the 
scholarship in the amount of 750 EURO per month, assistance and support 
for production and promotion, as required by the specific project. The 
residents can participate on the gallery program (artistic presentation, 
Q&A with artist, concert, projection, performance, etc.) and there is 
the opportunity to arrange a short - term exhibition in the "Grey room" 
studio which is part of the location Školská 28.

Application requirements
The application must contain :
a brief description of the project in English
the name of the project
the term of the project
uploadable /CD/ vizual or other documentation of  previous applicant´s 
projects
copy of the applicant´s ID
brief artistic CV in English

  Deadline for submissions is 20. August 2011.

Mark your submission " VARP residency program 2012". Please don´t 
hesitate to discuss your project in advance with residency curators Dana
