Háza és a Moholy-Nagy Művészet Egyetem közös nemzetközi
artist-in-residence  programja bemutatja

Marina Gadonneix Zavarszimuláció című kiállítását.

A PH-Budapestet a három szervezet karöltve hozta létre, hogy évente 4
külföldi fotóművészt vendégül láthasson Budapesten. A program 2009
őszén vette kezdetét. A PH- Budapest első két vendége Marina Gadonneix
és Shigeru Takato.

Marina Gadonneix - Zavarszimuláció

Marina a megrendezett terek, a szimulációk rabja. Korábbi sorozataihoz
hasonlóan Zavarszimuláció című projektjében is "tettre kész" tereket
fényképez.

Korábban láthattunk tőle fényképeket üres tv-stúdiókról, bevetések
közti, várakozó blue-boxokról, szimulált terekről. Legújabb
projektjében hatósági helyszíneken, katonasági és rendőrségi
gyakorlótereken fényképez. A képeken szereplő tájak
terrorcselekmények, bűncselekmények és katasztrófahelyzetek szimulált
helyszínei. Ilyen tereken gyakorlatoznak az egyenruhások a világ
különböző pontjain, hogy felkészüljenek a legrosszabbra.

Marina Gadonneix ebben a projektben korunk és kultúrkörünk félelmeiről
kísérel meg körképet készíteni. Hol és mitől félünk ma? Itt egy
tűzvész, ott egy autóbomba, amott egy gáztámadás. A fényképek, a
berendezett terek reprezentációi még be nem következett katasztrófák
és bűnesetek bizonyítékai.

Lumen Photography Foundation, Hungarian House of Photography, and
Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design presents

Marina Gadonneix: Disorder Simulation.

PH-Budapest was founded hand-in-hand by the three organisations to
host 4 international photographers in Budapest every year. The program
was launched in the autumn of 2009. PH- Budapest's first two artists
in residence are Marina Gadonneix and Shigeru Takato.

Marina Gadonneix - Disorder Simulation

Opening: 08. 12. 2009., 20:00

Marina is a devoted to staged spaces and simulations. Similarly to her
previous series, she photographs spaces "ready for action" in her
Disorder Simulation project.

We have seen her photographs of vacated TV studios, blue boxes waiting
to be deployed, simulated spaces. For her latest project she shoots on
locations reserved for the authorities, such as military and police
practice ranges. The landscapes in the photos are simulated sites of
terrorist attacks, criminal offences and catastrophes. Uniformed
people practice on such sites all over the world in order to prepare
for the worst.

Marina Gadonneix attempts to outline a panorama of the fears
afflicting our age and culture. Where and what are we afraid of today?
A fire here, a car bomb there, gas attacks and shootings everywhere.
The photographs are representations of set-up spaces, evidences of
catastrophes and crimes yet to occur.
