A filmvásznat teljesen betöltő arcok eleinte menekülésre vagy épp csak felháborodásra késztették a közönséget, de a rendezőket azóta is izgatja az ásító, grimaszoló, érző, kifejező arc ábrázolása. A ma már megszokott látvány meglepő történeti előzményeiről Az arc mozija. Közelkép és filmstílus c. könyve kapcsán Margitházi Beja beszél, majd e jelenségeket pszichológiai, kognitív illetve etológiai szempontból vizsgáljuk meg.
A kerekasztal beszélgetésre december 4-én, 17.00-kor kerül sor a 2B Galériában. Akik az asztal körül ülnek: Margitházi Beja, Dúll Andrea, Gyene Gyöngyvér, Mélyi József, Zimmer Márta, Hamp Gábor és Blaskó Ágnes.

The "irregular" surface of the face
Gigantic faces appearing in close-up on the silverscreen were shocking at the beginning of film history, although directors were excited showing faces with grimaces. Every kind of face close-ups are common nowadays, but the beginning is surprising and interesting from our perspective. Beja Margitházi, the author of the book The Cinema of the Face. Close-up and Film Style presents some characteristics of the faces appearing in film, and we try to explain this phenomena from ethological, cognitive and psychological perspective. The participants of the round table discussion are Andrea Dúll, Gyöngyvér Gyene, József Mélyi, Márta Zimmer, Gábor Hamp and Ágnes Blaskó.
