Maljkovic munkája egy hanginstalláció lett volna, így
lehetetlen a megbízás visszavonását anyagi okokkal indokolni.
Annál is inkább, mert a horvát pavilon hirdetésére
kevés pénz volt, a horvát fél és David Maljkovic
nemzetközi kiállítópartnerei együttesen hirdették a
Velencei Horvát Pavilont, így a Kunstverein Hamburg,
a londoni Whitechapel, a ne York-i P.S.1, a CAPC Bordeaux
hirdetése is hiábavaló volt.
Hogy a horvát megbízó intézmány, a Rijekai Kortárs
Müvészeti Múzeum és Zeljko Kipke a horvát pavilon kurátora
elöbb megnevezte a kiállító müvészt, majd visszavonta David
Maljkovic megbízását, egyértelmüen non-professzionalizmusra
és egy a müvészeti értékeket hátrább soroló, a müvészt
helyettesíthetönek tekintö, hatalmi érdekeket szolgáló
mechanizmusra vall.
A tiltakozó levél letölthetö a syndicate.anart.no címröl,
kis módosítással alá lehet írni és el lehet küldeni
