this is just a quick note announcing a symposium on wednesday,
october 11th, at 7:30 pm in Graz (AT), Festivalzentrum Künstlerhaus
(steirischer herbst):

IRIT ROGOFF AND LAWRENCE LIANG IN CONVERSATION ON 
COLLABORATION, PARTICIPATION AND PIRACY

the symposium takes place in the framework of the workshop  "on collaboration".

Irit Rogoff is Professor of Art History/Visual Culture, Historical
and  Cultural Studies, Goldsmiths College, London University. Her
research interests include: Visual Culture; contemporary art and
critical theory; post-colonialism and gender.

Lawrence Liang is a researcher with the Alternative Law Forum,
Bangalore. His key areas of interest are law, technology and  culture,
the politics of copyright and he has been working closely  with Sarai,
New Delhi on a joint research project Intellectual  Property and the
Knowledge/Culture Commons.
