With a '5' rating in the 2001 RAE the Newport 
School of Art, Media & Design is a locus for a 
vibrant research culture that includes 
practitioners in photography, installation, 
interactive art, painting, audio art, curating 
and criticism. You will work as part of the team 
stressing a transdisciplinary approach to 
artistic practice, teach across supporting 
modules in contemporary art and visual culture, 
and contribute to supervision at MA, MPhil and 
PhD level. Ideally you will be an artist/educator 
engaged in fine art practice in painting with a 
profile of international exhibitions, and possess 
experience teaching at HE level.
