International Artists In Residence Program in China

DoLand Museum of Art is the first and for now the only Museum of Modern Art
in main land China. With a clear mission supporting the contemporary art and
artists Doland Museum established artists workshops. The workshop will work
on international basis bringing Chinese and foreign artists together to work
on certain project proposed by artists themselves. Doland Moma workshop is
intended to foster personal vision by helping working professional artists
at all stages of their career, especially helping young artists all around
the world to gain confidence and experience working in new environment with
other artists. It's also possible for group of 2or 3 artists to apply for
residence in China. The guest artists are chosen by board on the basis of
the application. Chinese and foreign artists may submit the application and
chosen applicants will work together on certain project.
These residences help artists from different cultural backgrounds to work
and create together and show their work to Chinese public. If the project is
successfully accomplished DoLand Museum of Modern Art is willing to
negotiate with artists in order to organize exhibition in DoLand Museum.
DoLand Museum of Modern Art provides artists with studio and guest apartment
for two to six months .The artist pays for travel expenses and living costs.
A small grant for an artists material costs included.
