CALL FOR ENTRIES
Application deadline is the 16th July 2004


interfilm Berlin presents:
the 20th International Short Film Festival Berlin 02. - 07. November 2004


An international jury will award the 'interfilm Short Awards' in the
following categories:
- best film
- best animation
- best documentary
- best camera
- best sound

further prizes will be awarded in the following competitions:
- international films for children
- international films against violence and intolerance
- German Competition
- eject 'the long night of the unexpected' (the 'eject' audience prize)


Apart from the competitions, the festival also includes historical short
film programmes, special focus on Poland, Portugal and Agentinia, video
programmes, music clips, commercials, documentary films and computer
animation, as well as the chance to catch up on highlights from previous
interfilm festivals.
There will be thematically related seminars, parties and of course the
'eject-night' when the audience is the jury on 'the long night of the
unexpected'.
All film entries can be viewed by accredited guests at the film market.

The interfilm festival will also host the National Short Film Prize
Ceremony.

/ ntsc)!

Eine internationale Jury verleiht die "interfilm Short Awards" in folgenden
Kategorien :
- bester Film
- beste Animation
- beste Dokumentation
- beste Kamera
- bester Sound

weitere Preise werden in folgenden Wettbewerben vergeben :
- internationale Kinderfilme
- internationale Kurzfilme gegen Gewalt und Intoleranz
- Deutscher Wettbewerb
- eject - die lange Nacht des abwegigen Films (der eject Publikumspreis)

  Neben den Wettbewerben bieten die Rahmenprogramme historische Kurzfilme,
Ldnder-Specials aus Polen, Portugal und Argentinien, Spezialprogramme und
thematische Seminare.
Au_erdem werden Videosonderprogramme, Musikclips, Werbefilme,
Dokumentarfilme und Computeranimationen vorgestellt und interfilm-Highlights
des letzten Festivals gezeigt.
Die eject-Nacht - die "lange Nacht des abwegigen Films" und Filmparties
werden gefeiert.
Alle eingereichten Filme sind auf dem Filmmarkt dem Fachpublikum zugdnglich.
Im Rahmen des Festivals wird au_erdem der Deutsche Kurzfilmpreis verliehen.

Zur Sichtung bitte nur DVD oder VHS-Kassetten einsenden (pal / secam /
ntsc)!
