ArtSway Pro[duction] Residencies 04

Visual artists are invited to submit proposals for two production
residencies in 2004. ArtSway aims to give artists an exceptional opportunity
to develop ideas and work which would otherwise be beyond their resources in
a unique and supportive environment. Artists who have recently undertaken
residencies include Simon Faithfull, Charlie Murphy, Emilia Telese and
Richard Billingham. Each residency will be for a two month period with a
concluding exhibition/presentation/distribution
opportunity at least one month after the conclusion of the residency. The
residencies are offered to artists working in all media and include studio,
access to media suite, fee (£3000), accomodation, production, marketing and
print costs (£3000). All artists should have an interest in working with and
sharing their creative skills with audiences. An additional residency in
partnership with The Art House will be advertised later in 2004.

Artists should apply by proposal (up to 2 pages A4) CV and examples of
recent work (6 x slides, CD-Rom, VHS, MiniDV, DVD, ULR).
Please note: there is no theme or priority for the residencies.
