IFP/Los Angeles is now accepting applications for the 2004 IFP Los Angeles
Film Festival, which will take place from Thursday, June 17 through
Saturday, June 26, 2004.
The submissions deadline for short films and music videos is February 20,
2004, while the deadline for full-length narrative and documentary features
(U.S. and international) is March 1, 2004.

Held annually in the heart of Hollywood, the IFP Los Angeles Film Festival
showcases the best of American and international independent cinema. With an
attendance of over 40,000, the festival screens over 200 narrative features,
documentaries, shorts, and music videos. The competitive section features
recent U.S. narrative features, documentaries and shorts, while the
International Showcase features full-length narratives and documentaries.
The festival also screens high-school shorts and music videos.
All features and shorts are eligible for Audience Awards. The winner of the
Narrative Feature Competition will receive the Target Filmmaker Award, which
carries a $50,000 unrestricted cash grant. The winner of the Documentary
Feature Competition will receive the Target Documentary Award, which carries
a $25,000 unrestricted cash grant.
