River Alchemy, The Arroyo Arts Collective 

CALL FOR ENTRIES The Arroyo Arts Collective invites proposals for "River Alchemy," a site-specific event located along the banks of the Los Angeles River. Eco-sensitive installations by professional artists. 20 project proposals accepted, $200 honoraria per project. Organized in conjunction with the annual Gran Limpieza river clean-up, sponsored by FoLAR (Friends of the Los Angeles River). Jurors Tran T. Kim-Trang, artist; Lewis MacAdams, FoLAR Board member; Nancy Buchanan, AAC Board member. Installation open to the public Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, between 11 and 5.
