**Call for submissions for video works**
---------------------------
Following on from recent mapping adventures (see
[http://www.metamute.com/metamap.pdf] Mute/Metamute continue their mapping
explorations through a live event.
We invite you to submit videos for YOU ARE HERE: a night of screenings,
live-mapping activities and launch of the new issue of Mute.
Whether your video looks at your local area, or examines issues on a
global scale, whether it's a documentary, an animation or anything in
between, we are interested in seeing it.
Selected videos will be screened as part of YOU ARE HERE, the first in a new
series of events organised by Mute Magazine. YOU ARE HERE will be held in
London on 18th of December 2001.
Deadline for receipt of submissions: Monday 19th November 2001
Guidelines:
maximum duration 15 minutes.
Viewing copies must be sent on VHS PAL or Mini DV PAL only.
Please include duration, full name of artist/s, a short synopsis and
production date.
Please do not include showreels, or tapes that contain more than one piece
of work without clearly marking which piece you would like us to consider.
If you would like us to return the copy of the video, please enclose a SAE.
