CALL FOR:

1. Multimedia projects in the field of audio-visual arts from Albania,
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosova, Kirgizstan, Latvia,
Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Tadzikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia are being invited for
realization in time International Festival of Contemporary Arts in the South
Ural region of RUSSIA on 1-15 October 2001. The Festival is planned as
transit event through the cities of Cheliabinsk region with basis in
Cheliabinsk and has official supporting from Cultural and Art Board of
Cheliabinsk Regional Administration, Cheliabinsk State Concert Union, Art
and Cultural Boards of Administrations of the cities of Cheliabinsk region.

Please, include following information:

Brief description of project.

Information about performers. Please, include the information concerning
your opportunities of cooperation between composers and performers from your
/ other countries  /+brief CV's/, possibility to stage your project during
the Festival by performers who will be participators.

Necessary equipment light, electronic, audio, etc.

Preliminary budget of the project.

2. Soloists and chamber music groups are  welcome to present own concert
programs which searching the parallels between contemporary music and music
17-19 centuries. Also the programs presenting music by S. Prokofiev will be
attractive.

NOTE. Taking account non-profit character of the Festival , professional fee
requests will not be covering from Festival budget.

3. Professional journalists and musicologists who has outstanding experience
in the field of performing arts critic are invited for the teaching on
master-classes and workshops.

Professional art-managers who has experience in the work on crisis regions
are invited as leaders of seminars and lectures.

Only for this categories of the participators professional fee will be
provided. Please, include your conditions.

Deadline for all proposals: April 20, 2001.
The results of the selection will be announcement before May 1, 2001.
