Experience</b></font> events.</div>

<div>Among the pioneers of radio and than television, Ernie Kovacs was
one of the most original, creative and imaginative American
comedian.</div>
<div>His visually experimental and often spontaneous, absurdist
comedic style entertained audiences from the early 40s in the radio
and than throughout the groundbreaking days of the 50s and early 60s
in television. He influenced later comedies, comedians and artist with
his irreverent, surreal and surprising humor and over creative visual
language. Kovacs created wildly creative comic jokes, hilarious
characters using wacky experiments of animation. </div>

<div>In July 2023 a new book was released about Ernie Kovacs' works.
The book:<i> Ernie in Kovacsland</i> was published by Fantagraphics.
"Curated by Josh Mills (son of Edie Adams, Kovacs's wife and a
performer on his show), Edie/Ernie archivist Ben Model, and
counterculture historian Pat Thomas, the book offers a unique glimpse
into the mind of a pioneering comedian. The first Kovacs book to be
published in 30 years, this impressive collection features previously
unpublished Ernie photos, drawings and writings, vintage 1960s
magazine articles reprinted for the first time, and new essays by Ann
Magnuson and Ron Mael of Sparks."</div>
