</b>A Magyar Képzömüvészeti Egyetem MKE-Profil ideiglenes,
nonprofit galériaterében helyet kapó kiállítás során az
Intermédia tanszék 3 kurzusának müvészei mutatkoznak be
féléves munkáikkal. Az egy idöben készült, ám nagyon
sokféle alkotásokban egy a közös; mind egyéni, szubjektív
értelmezések.</font><br>

<div><font color="#000000">Az Intermédia tanszék Erasmus
ösztöndíjasainak alkotásai Farkas Roland<i>
Mütárgykészítés</i> kurzusán születettek. A hallgatók tavaszi
féléves feladatukhoz inspirációként Jorge Luis Borges<i>
Tükörállatok</i> címü fabuláját kapták<i>. “A
tükrök világa akkoriban nem vált szét, mint most, az emberek
világától. (...) A két birodalom, a tükör- és az
embervilág, jól megfért egymással; ide-oda lehetett
közlekedni a tükrökön át"</i>, amíg<i> “egy éjjel
elözönlötte a tükörnép a földet"</i> - írja
müvében Borges.</font></div>
<div><font color="#000000"><br></font></div>
<div><font color="#000000">A hallgatók munkájuk során a
tükör/tükrözödés témájához gyüjtöttek és elemeztek
müvészeti és elméleti példákat, miközben a mediatizált
kép - a spektákulum és a szimulákrum világa - és az ezen
kívüli valóság kapcsolatát vizsgálták. A kiállított
müvek hol tágabb, hol szükebb kontextusban értelmezve,
változatos formában jelenítik meg a témát.</font></div>

<i>Filmezzétek egymást, a kamera kézröl kézre jár! Egy 50
éves kamera az emlékezés kelléke. Az analóg film valódi
anyag. Egyszeri, megismételhetetlen pillanatok a végtelenben. A
filmezés és az elöhívás közötti késleltetés
frusztráló izgalma. Az elöhívás mint meditációs folyamat.
A szerkesztés válik az egyéni gondolatok kifejezési
csatornájává. 50 méter közösen forgatott 8mm-es
nyersanyag caffenol technikával történö elöhívása
után.<br>
</i>Vándor Csaba -<i> Hagyományos filmkészítés</i>
(másképp) kurzusának hallgatói egy-egy kisfilmben értelmezték
újra a felvételeket.<br>
<br>
Miként kapcsolódik össze az egyéni és közösségi
emlékezet? Alkalmasak-e az emlékmüvek közösségek
által megélt traumatikus történések emlékezetének
megörzésére? Általánosságban vizsgálva: állandóak vagy
ideiglenesek az emlékmüvek valójában?<br>
Miként alakítják emlékezetünket az olyan közelmúltbeli
traumatikus tapasztalatok, mint a Covid-pandémia? Miféle helyi,
személyes és sajátos elemeket hordoz magában egy globális
trauma? Lehetséges-e megemlékezni egy olyan eseményröl, amely
még nem ért véget, és talán soha nem is fog? <br>
A kiállításon bemutatott projektek ezekre a kérdésekre
keresik a választ. A gondolatok, tárgyak, performatív akciók a
KissPál Szabolcs által tartott<i> Alkotó elemzés</i> kurzusra
készültek. <br>

The MKE-Profil gallery cordially invites you to the following
exhibition:<br>

<b>Fungible Present<br>
<br>
</b>The exhibition in the temporary, non-profit gallery space of the
Hungarian University of Fine Arts MKE-Profil will feature the
semester-long works of artists from 3 different courses of the
Intermedia Department. The works, which were made at the same time but
are very diverse, have one thing in common; they are all individual,
subjective interpretations.</font></div>
<div><font color="#000000"><br>
The works of the Erasmus scholarship students of the Intermedia
Department were born during Roland Farkas's course<i> How to Create
Works of Art</i>. Students were given inspiration for their spring
semester assignment by Jorge Luis Borges' fable<i> Fauna of
Mirrors</i>. "<i>In those days the world of mirrors and the world of
men were not, as they are now, cut off from each other. (...) Both
kingdoms, the specular and the human, lived in harmony; you could come
and go through mirrors. One night the mirror people invaded the
earth.</i>" - writes Borges in his book. In their work,
students collected and analyzed artistic and theoretical examples of
mirror/reflection, while examining the relationship between the
mediatized image - the world of spectacle and simulacrum - and reality
outside it. The exhibited works, interpreted in a broader or narrower
context, present the given theme in a variety of forms.<br>
<i>Film each other, the camera goes from hand to hand. A fifty-year
old camera is a tool to store memories. The analogue reel of film is a
real material. One-off, unrepeatable moments in the infinite. The
frustrating excitement caused by the delay between shooting and
developing. Developing a film is a form of meditation. In this process
editing becomes the way to express individual thoughts.<br>
</i>The students from Csaba Vándor's course,<i> Conventional
filmmaking</i> (another way), interpreted the 50-metre long, 8 mm film
material, which was shot together and developed by caffenol technique
in their short films.<br>
<br>
How the individual and collective memory are interconnected? Can we
consider the monuments suitable formats for preserving the memory of
traumatic events that were collectively experienced? Are the monuments
in general permanent or temporary formats in fact? <br>
How our memories are being shaped by a such recent traumatic
experiences, such as the Covid-19 pandemic? What kind of local,
personal and specific aspects a global trauma carries within? Is
there possible to commemorate an event that is not fully over yet, and
maybe it will never be?<br>
These are the questions on which the projects included in this
exhibition are looking for an answer. These concepts, objects,
performative actions are the outcome of the course<i> Creative
analysis</i> led by Szabolcs KissPál. <br>
