<div dir="ltr"><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/982454792695531?ref=newsfeed">https://www.facebook.com/events/982454792695531?ref=newsfeed</a><br></div><div><br></div>Judit Kis will be joined in conversation by Brooklyn and Budapest-based curator Veronika Molnár this Thursday at 6 pm. Join us in person at Kahan Art Space Budapest or tune in on Instagram Live (via @u.dyt). The duo will discuss the video and sculptural works on view and share their recent experiences working and making art in New York City. The conversation will be held in English. Since the places are limited, please register in advance by e-mail (<a href="mailto:nemeth@evakahanfoundation.org">nemeth@evakahanfoundation.org</a>).<div><br>about the hosts:<br>Veronika Molnar is an independent curator and writer based in Budapest and Brooklyn. She received her MA in Art History from Hunter College in May 2021 as a Fulbright Fellow. During a yearlong internship in the Department of Media and Performance at The Museum of Modern Art, she assisted with organizing the exhibitions Shigeko Kubota: Liquid Reality and Adam Pendleton: Who Is Queen?. She has held curatorial positions at carriage trade, Edward Ressle Gallery, Faur Zsofi Gallery, FERi Gallery, and Budapest Photo Festival. Her essays, reviews, and interviews have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, MoMA Magazine, and Assemblage.<div><br><a href="https://marieclaire.hu/.../siker-hatarokon-tul-molnar.../.">https://marieclaire.hu/.../siker-hatarokon-tul-molnar.../.</a>..</div><div><br>Judit Kis is an intermedia artist from Hungary who recently completed a studio residency at Residency Unlimited and Artist Alliance inc. in New York City. In 2020 she received the ACAX – Leopold Bloom and Young Visual Art Award, in 2019 the Derkovits Art Grant with an exhibition at the Kunsthalle Budapest. She studied fine art and curating at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest and at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Currently she is pursuing a doctoral degree to explore the social impact of self-defining and self-revealing performances with a focus on self-care, mental health, and alternative healing methodologies.</div><div><br>current exhibition of the artist at Kahan Art Space Budapest:<br><a href="https://evakahanfoundation.org/.../exhibition/surrender">https://evakahanfoundation.org/.../exhibition/surrender</a></div></div></div>
