<div><br></div>
<div>OUR GAME<b> "FORGETTER"</b> IS A SUCCESSFUL ART TROJAN
HORSE IN THE GAME WORLD!<br>
</div>
<div>Two weeks ago, our 10-month-long project, Forgetter, finally made
it to Steam, the global game platform. This is a brainchild of Alan
Kwan, Allison Yang Jing and<b> DSL</b>COLLECTION. An unprecedented
experiment to move contemporary art into a game to be seen, destroyed
or preserved.<br>
<br>
Below is our launch statement draft 5 days ago:<br>
</div>
<div>There's some excitement (and nervousness) as we take another step
forward in this strange game's life journey. Ten months ago, Forgetter
was just a crazy idea. With the combined efforts of two designers and
an art collection pushing it forward, it slowly took shape and gained
detail, finally growing into what it is today.<br>
</div>
<div>Forgetter is a game of destruction, failure and creation. We pick
up the fragments of memory left behind in the corners of this world.
We carve them carefully, then bury them in the wilderness. There they
remain, hidden inside the residual consciousness of dead souls,
expecting to be found again, or abandoned.<br>
</div>
<div>This is the story of generations of creators, the story of all of
us, and the story that will eventually be forgotten by all of us.
There will always be some memories that accidentally remain, sealing
themselves in the works, the games, the art we create.<br>
</div>
<div>Hundreds of games land on this platform every day, but seeing the
little world we built among them, it's still hard to believe - we
finished a game! From voice actors to sound effects and music, graphic
design to film production, game testing to marketing and social media
operations, we have creative friends from the game, advertising, film,
academic and art industries to help us.<br>
</div>
<div>We live in a society where these creative industries are growing,
but there are many sensitive and fragile hearts in the infinite milieu
of creative contents. If we have any ambition and expectation, it is
probably that we want to invite every one of you who have experienced
creation and destruction to meet yourself and others in Forgetter.<br>
</div>

<div><b>DSL</b>COLLECTION<br>
</div>
<div>The game became an overnight black horse on steam. Not only did
Forgetter immediately find itself among the top list of newly
released, experimental games, philosophical games,etc.. Many
youtubers, twitch casters and serious writers soon discovered the game
and released their own review about the game. In Hong Kong, a
youtuber's hearful review "more than a game" gained over 25,000
views and more than 170 comments over the weekend. In Germany, an art
game critic praised it to be an important art trojan house. Steam's
own curators welcomed the game, admiring its strong artistic value as
well as such a creative production from such a small team. In Italy
and Hong Kong, the team was invited to universities to give speeches
on the convergence of game and art. In Hong Kong, there is already an
exhibition about the game.<br>
</div>
<div>We just started this amazing and challenging journey. We proudly
present our new baby to you, and welcome you, art or not, game or not,
just to come and spend 1 hour in a deeply meditative and destructive
journey of the art system that put us in misery and give us pleasure
at the same time.<br>

<div>This is<b> DSL</b>COLLECTION's recent adventure in infusing art
experience with game experience. We continue to push the boundaries
and create new digital experiences since 2005. This adventure in the
world video already helped us reach a new community in the gaming, as
well as respond to the public desire to find some forms of
gamification in their art experience experiences.<br>
