<div><font color="#000000">Dora Ratjen csak azért vehetett részt a
berlini olimpián, mert Gretel Bergmannt zsidó származása miatt
eltiltották. A kés‘bb Európa-bajnok magasugrón‘t 1938-ban
elkapják a náci tisztek egy vasútállomáson, pedig csak egy
zsemlét akart venni. Pénze volt, de a sminkje alól kilátszott
a borostája. Mintha a bulvárrovat írta volna a szkriptet: az
‘rsön a magasugrón‘t levetk‘ztették, lefotózták és
jelentést írtak róla. A rekordokat és érmeket elvették
Ratjent‘l, aki ezután eltžnt a nyilvánosság
el‘l.</font></div>

<div><font color="#000000">Lesi Zoltán költ‘ verseket írt
interszexuális sportolókról, és a jelenséget tágabb
kontextusba helyezte, ráadásul izgalmas költeményei több
nyelven is megjelentek. A szerz‘ és Ricardo Portilho a versekhez
asszamblázsokat készített, majd könyvdizájnt.</font></div>
<div><font color="#000000">A kötet<i> Magasugrás</i> címen
jelent meg a Prae Kiadó gondozásában.</font></div>

és Lesi Zoltán izgalmas kiállításán.</font></div>

beszélget, s egy különleges költészeti performansz is

Dora Ratjen was only allowed to participate as high jumper at the
Berlin Olympics because Gretel Bergmann was banned. No German was
allowed to run with a Jewish heritage. Ratjen became later a European
champion in Vienna and got caught by the Nazi police as she was
traveling back. She only wanted to buy some bread rolls in a station.
She had enough money, but her stubble under her makeup got noticed.
What followed could have been written by the yellow press: she was
undressed, photographed, and reported at the police station. Her
records and medals were taken from her, and then she disappeared from
the eye of the public.</font></div>

<div><font color="#000000">Zoltán Lesi was writing poems about
intersexual athletes, putting them in a broader political context. His
poems were published in German, Slovak and Hungarian and also
translated to English and Portuguese. The author and Ricardo Portilho,
designer were preparing shadow boxes and installation to the topic.
They also made the artbook design for the Hungarian and the German
publication.</font></div>

In the topic of intersexuality and sports, documents from the 1930s,
fake news, police reports, and lobsters appear in surrealistic boxes.
Our exhibition is a continuation of the High Jump Fanzine, exploring
the topic in greater detail.</font></div>
