<div>Billions is a new old-fashioned email list for sharing
information related to the impacts of social media and big digital
networks on our lives and our communities. It's a way for us to
critically contribute to and keep track of the unfolding stories of
social media and big digital across our planet, and to connect us with
like-minded others.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Researchers, activists, artists, ai/crypto/engineers, and curious
others are all welcome to join. Please share news items, academic
research and other posts that may be relevant to the topic.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>This list may evolve over time and become more defined, but for
now we welcome you to join and share news, events and other
information related to social media and big digital networks.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>You can join the billions email list by sending a blank email to <a
href="mailto:billions-subscribe@listcultures.org"
>billions-subscribe@listcultures.org</a> - or reply to this
message indicating your interest to join, and I can add you directly
to the list.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Please note that your spam filter may identify emails from the
list as junk/spam - so please check your appropriate folders or
whitelist the address.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Please do share this invitation with others who may be
interested.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Thanks to the Institute of Network Cultures for
facilitating the hosting of billions.</div>
