Dear friend,

We obviously live in the end times.

If we understand the Apocalypse as "revelation" and not the end itself, how can we construct resistance in the context of climate catastrophe and never ending war?

How can we come to terms with finitude and extinction; can the current cascade of catastrophes (still) create a crack or chance for social transformation and hope beyond Apocalypse?

On Thursday 12 May, I will be joined by Ece Temelkuran and Franco Franco “Bifo” Berardi on the opening day of the Summit at the End of the World for a conversation about these pressing questions.

Our panel will follow an exciting keynote by Jeremy Corbyn and interventions from the Governor of Tierra del Fuego Gustavo Melella from Argentina and Foreign Minister Rogelio Mayta of Bolivia.
