t hallgatók,

tekintettel arra, hogy értesüléseink szerint a vezetőség kérésére
tavaly december elején leadott *Mapping the local* következő félévi
kurzusleírása
a Neptuban a hallgatók számára a most zajló tantárgyfelvétel időszakában
még mindig nem elérhető (!!?), alább néhány fontos információ azzal
kapcsolatban,

üdv, sz.

*Ami a legfontosabb:*
*a kurzus nemzetközi blokkszeminárium formájában fog megvalósulni*
*április 8-9, 12-13 között!*

Leírás:
*ALTERNATIVE TOURISM AGENCY*
*General:*
This topic is in line with the ongoing theme started in 2020/21: As leisure
time activities keep
increasing, so does international travel, and along with it all the various
related tourist industries. Now this is seriously hampered by the Covid-19
pandemic. Consequently, the changed needs in the modalities of transport,
housing and entertainment of an increasingly large segment of the earth’s
population have profound affects on both urban and rural life.
The continuing growth in ‘global tourism’ has transformed the economic and
social dynamics of
cities.
The alternatives of (not only academic) tourism initiatives will be
explored: how the existing
infrastructure is being/could be transformed in order to offer sustainable
forms and methods reusing the tourism’ infrastructure, how can we benefit
from the collapse of tourism (hop on/hop off, locals-foreigners, estate
business, penguins from east to south, cheap accommodation for people,
economical solutions, social solidarity, etc.).

*Special topics:*
- reorienting, expanding the concept of traveling
- re-purposing real estate and other mobility-related infrastructure
- tourism on the background of the service tourism
- artistic intervention and (re)invention of mobility
- the cultural impacts of this radical transformation
