Juliana Höschlová három hónapot tölt a Fiatal Képz‘mžvészek Stúdiója
Egyesületnél a Visegrádi Alap - Vizuális és Hang mžvészet rezidencia
programja keretében.

Bemutatkozó el‘adásában azokba a gondolatokba, inspirációs forrásokba enged
betekintést, amelyek már hosszabb ideje érdekl‘désének középpontjában
állnak. Az utóbbi id‘ben Höschlovát leginkább a hiperfogyasztás témája
foglalkoztatja, következésképpen a túltermelés kérdése, valamint, hogy
milyen befolyással bír a média, ha pánikkeltésre használják. Mindezen túl
pedig az, hogy a remény témája hogy jelenik meg a közeljöv‘re felvázolt
forgatókönyvekben.

Juliana Höschlová (* 1987) multimédia mžvész Prágából. Munkái többnyire a
rajz, performansz és az installáció médiumában születnek; az ember és
környezete kapcsolatára reflektálnak szocio-politikai kontextusból.
2010-ben a prágai Nemzeti Galéria NG 333 Prize díjazottja volt. Számos
galériában állított már ki mind Csehországban, mind külföldön és több
mžvészeti rezidencia programnak volt a résztvev‘je. Mžvészeti tevékenysége
mellett társalapítója a "Náv”tûva" projektnek, amely a kritikai
gondolkodást célozza meg a videó mžvészeten keresztül. 2010-ben megvalósult
projektjében a Tajpeji kortárs mžvészeti szcénát térképezte fel.

Artist talk with Juliana Höschlová

In the frame of the Visegrad Artists Residency - Visual and Sound Arts
program Juliana Höschlová will spend three months at the Studio of Young
Artists' Association.

In her presentation she will give a glimpse into the thoughts and resources
in which she has been interested in for a long time. Recently, she is
mostly dealing with a topic of hyper-consumption and therefore
overproduction, media impact in the hand of panic effect and searching for
the topic of the hope in the scenarios of the near future.

Juliana Höschlová (* 1987) is a multimedia artist from Prague. She is
mostly working in the  medium of drawing, performance and installation,
reflecting on the relation between man and the environment in a
socio-political context. In 2010 she became a laureate of the NG 333 Prize,
awarded by the National Gallery in Prague. She has prepared numerous
exhibition projects for galleries in the Czech Republic and abroad, where
she has participated in a several artistic residences, too. Besides her
artistic practice she is the co-founder of the "Náv”tûva" project with the
potential of critical thinking through video-art and in 2010 she
implemented a mapping project about the contemporary art scene in Taipei.
