Das EMAF verlängert seinen Call for Entries

Das EMAF zählt zu den bedeutendsten Foren für internationale 
Medienkunst. Als Treffpunkt für Künstler, Kuratoren, Verleiher, 
Galeristen und Fachpublikum prägt es entscheidend die Thematik, Ästhetik 
und Zukunft der medialen Kunst. Das Festival bietet einen aktuellen und 
historischen Überblick mit einem Programm aus Experimentalfilmen, 
Installationen, Performances, digitalen Formaten und hybriden Formen.

	

Im Open Call können Arbeiten der Bereiche Film/Video, Installation und 
Expanded Media sowie Beiträge zum Media Campus INIT eingereicht werden. 
Jetzt verlängern wir den Call – Einreichungen sind nun noch bis zum *25. 
November* möglich!

Die Auswahlkommissionen und die Kuratoren entscheiden auf Grundlage der 
eingesandten Materialien über die Teilnahme am EMAF in den verschiedenen 
Sektionen und die Nominierungen für die Preise. Die Anmelder werden ab 
Ende Februar 2019 per E-Mail über die Entscheidungen benachrichtigt.

EMAF extends its Call for Entries

EMAF is one of the most influential forums for international Media Art. 
As a meeting point for artists, curators, distributors, galleries and an 
audience of experts the festival has a great impact on the topics and 
aesthetics of Media Art. Each year the festival offers its visitors a 
current overview of experimental films, installations, performances, 
digital formats and hybrid forms.

In the Open Call, works from the fields of film/video, installation and 
expanded media as well as contributions to the Media Campus INIT can be 
submitted. We are now extending the call - submissions are now possible 
until *25 November*!


	

The selection committees and the curators will make their decisions on 
the participation in the various sections of the EMAF based on the 
material submitted and will nominate the works for the awards. The 
applicants will be notified by e-mail beginning by the end of February 2019.
