1991-ben Tim Berners-Lee létrehozta az első weblapot, amely az információ elérésének és rendezésének új módjához vezetett. Ma, közel 30 év múltán hatalmas mennyiségű adat áll rendelkezésünkre különböző oldalakon elrendezve. De mégis, mi lehet az arány az ily módon rendelkezésre álló információ és a birtokolt tudás között? És mi az, aminek folyamatosan tudatában vagyunk? Észrevesszük például az évszakok váltakozását?

A kiállítás felvetése, hogy létezhetett az internet előtt, illetve azzal párhuzamosan egy másfajta törekvés is, amely a befogadó előzetes ismereteire és érzékenységére hagyatkozott és rövid, kódolt üzeneteken keresztül igyekezett számottevő információt átadni. Mintha egy mottót olvasva megismernénk az egész könyv tartalmát.  A kiállítási enteriőr ennek a félbemaradt kutatásnak a színhelye, egy régen elhagyott laboratórium, valahol félúton könyvtár és szerverszoba között.

A járványügyi helyzetre való tekintettel mi is rendhagyó eseménnyel készülünk. A megnyitó napján délután 4 és este 10 óra között a művész jelenlétében lehet megtekinteni a kiállítást. Szeretnénk betartani a távolságtartásra vonatkozó ajánlásokat, ezért az esemény falán szavazást hozunk létre. Kérjük jelöld be mikor szeretnél jönni és ha teheted, igyekezz olyan időpontot választani, amit még nem választottak sokan. Rendezvény tilalom egyelőre nincs érvényben, de megnyitóbeszéddel ezúttal nem készülünk. A maszkviselés minden üzlethelyiségben kötelező, így kérjük úgy készülj, hogy az üzletbe nem lehet bejönni az orrot és a szájat teljesen eltakaró maszk nélkül. Kézfertőtlenítőt a helyszínen biztosítunk.

In 1991 the first website was created by Tim Berners-Lee, which lead to a new way of sharing and organizing information. Almost 30 years later there is a huge amount of data constantly accessible to us on different kinds of sites. But what is the proportion between available information of this sort and someone's owned knowledge? And of what are we constantly aware? Do we even notice the changing of seasons?
The thesis of the exhibition is the possible existence of another endeavour before or parallel with the internet. According to that, relying on the recipient's knowledge and affinity, it could be possible to transfer massive data by sending short, encoded messages. As though after reading an epigraph, we knew the content of the whole book. The presented interior is the scene of this wrecked research, an abandoned laboratory around halfway from a library to a server-room.

Due to the epidemiological situation, we prepare with an unusual event. You can visit the exhibition in the presence of the artist from 4 to 10 pm on the day of the opening. We want to follow the recommendations for social distancing, so we will create a vote on the wall of the event. Please mark when you would like to come and if you can, try to choose the less busy time. We are not preparing with an opening speech this time. Wearing a mask is mandatory in all stores, so please be prepared! You will not be able to enter the store without a mask that completely covers your nose and mouth. Hand sanitizer will be provided on site.

We are happy to announce the first online auction of the ISBN books+gallery. The ISBN is a contemporary art bookstore and gallery space, opened in 2017 December in Budapest, Hungary. The institution is specailized on independent publications and artists' books, photobooks and fanzines in limited edition. This time we have the chance to sell two non-standard copies from the first print-run of HUMAN, the latest photobook of Gábor Arion Kudász. The title is sold-out world-wide, but these two copies left at the property of the artist, till now! Each copy contains minor additions by the artist, sketches, markings, stencil, stamps and signature.  In the framework of this auction you can bid on the 178th copy of the book. Later this year, we will announce a following auction for the other copy we have (no. 324).

- We announce a 14 days online auction from the 22th of September till 6th of October 1pm.
- You can make your offers using the online application form.
- If we get offer in the last 5 minutes of the auction we will prolong the auction with extra 20 minutes every time.
- We can ship worldwide but shipping fee is not included in the price. It will be calculated according to the final delivery address.

Abstract:
The brick works as concept, as in building block, module, part. It is also an artificial construction invented at the dawn of civilization, which latterly strongly influenced the course of development of human reasoning. It is a simple model of how one can understand the formerly continuous fabric of the universe by cutting it into well-formed units and reconstructing it. This book is an attempt to employ this principle.
Büro Für Kunst proposed the undertaking of a brick related photo project on behalf of the Wienerberger Contemporary Photography Collection in 2014. The work was recipient of the inaugural Robert Capa Photography Grand Prize, shortlisted for Leopold Bloom Art Award in 2015, shortlisted among five outstanding projects of Le Bal Award for Young Artists with the ADAGP and it was winner of Conscientious Portfolio Competition in 2016.
