Talking Galleries is an international think tank
dedicated to generating debate and knowledge in
the field of art galleries and the art market.
Launched in 2011 in Barcelona, the platform
develops relevant content around gallery
management through international symposia,
publications and an online video channel. It
holds the "Barcelona Symposium", an annual
meeting point for gallerists, and organises talks
and educational courses in global art capitals
such as Paris, Madrid, London or New York.

Talking Galleries, the think tank for galleries,
is pleased to announce a new series of Online
Talks with the aim to discuss the impact of the
Covid-19 pandemic on the gallery world and the
wider art market.
The outbreak of Covid-19, and the global shutdown
and its subsequent economic downturn that came in
its wake, has shaken up the art world in
unexpected ways. In light of these challenging
times, Talking Galleries will host a special
online programme that seeks to provide a meeting
point for debate and exchange around the
challenges of art galleries during-and
post-pandemic
During September, a series of virtual panel
discussions, conversations and presentations will
bring together prominent art professionals, both
from Spain and the international scene, who will
share their insights on how galleries are facing
this fast-changing situation and how the global
market will evolve.
