Szinte napra pontosan egy évvel Magyarósi Éva egyéni kiállítása

után a LUK is bemutatja az eredetileg tíz epizódból álló *Éden* animációs
sorozat *Onnan, ahonnan jövök* című darabját. Ezek a személyes hangvételük
révén feloldozást nyújtó „felnőttmesék” bátran és őszintén szólnak azokról
a hétköznapi, mégis sorsformáló élethelyzetekről – és az ezeken keresztül
megtapasztalt érzésekről –, amelyekben kivétel nélkül mindannyian magunkra
ismerhetünk.

A LUK galéria adottságai olyan egyéni megközelítést tesznek lehetővé a néző
számára, melyben Magyarósi Éva szabadon folyó, érzelemgazdag történetei
közül az *Onnan, ahonnan jövök* álomszerű képekben kibontott, Víg Mihály
hangján és zenéjére megszólaló vallomása különleges hangsúlyt és mélységet
kap.

kiállításmegnyitó ideje alatt egy olyan válogatást is bemutatunk, aminek a
fókuszában – az *Onnan, ahonnan jövök* témájához hasonlóan – elsősorban a
generációk közötti bonyolult és felbonthatatlan kapcsolatok állnak. A
bejárattól emeletenként fölfelé haladva sorrendben a *Gyermekek álmai*, *A
fenyő*, a *Medence*, az *Onnan, ahonnan jövök*, a *Csipkebokor* és végül a
*Télikertek* című videók adják ki együtt az *Éden*-fragmentum így is teljes
ívét.

It is almost exactly one year after Éva Magyarósi’s solo exhibition

that LOOK presents *Where I Come From*, an animated video from her
ten-episode *Eden* story cycle. Through their intimate tone, these "grown
up fables" candidly reveal those ordinary and everyday life situations
which – at the same time – mark the turning points in our lives, and the
familiar feelings that come with them.

LOOK gallery’s spatial features invite the viewer to experience an
individual approach to one of Éva Magyarósi's freely flowing, richly
emotional stories. *Where I Come From*, with narration and the music of
Mihály Víg, is a bold and sincere confession that renders remarkable layers
and colours.

Éva Magyarósi’s *Eden* story cycle has previously been presented at
the Kochi-Muziris
Bienniale <http://www.kochimuzirisbiennale.org/> in India and in Deák Erika
Galéria <http://www.deakgaleria.hu/index.php/en/> in Budapest. Exclusively
during the time of the opening, LOOK will show a selection of six from the
complete series (including *Where.I Come From*), the episodes which focus
on the complex and unbreakable ties between parent and child. Climbing the
stairs you will follow the loosely linked episodes starting with *Children’s
Dream*, followed by *The Pine Tree*, *The Pool*, *Where I Come From*, *The
Dog Rose Bush* to arrive to the last piece, *Winter Gardens* on top.
