#trashbook - a címváltoztatás jogát fenntartjuk

#trashbook 2. - az új koncepció

A kiállítás előkészítése során a szerzők, Biró Dávid és Dobokay Máté az
átmeneti térrel, ezen belül is a költözéssel kezdtek el foglalkozni. Az
első könyv a művészek által közösen használt privát térből építkezett, míg
a második kiindulópontja az együttműködésen alapuló munka és a közös
műtermi környezet. A mostani kiállítás (#trashbook - a címváltoztatás jogát
fenntartjuk) és a hozzá tartozó füzetek a következő könyv mellékletét
képezik. A bemutatott válogatás minden esetlegességével - és adott esetben
eltartásával az eredeti anyagtól -, folytatja a korábbi gondolatmenetet.



#trashbook - az eredeti koncepció

“A kollégiumban szobatársak lettünk, így közös életterünkből kiindulva,
mindennapi tárgyakkal kezdtünk el foglalkozni; önmaguktól generálódó
objekteket örökítettünk meg közvetlen környezetünkben. A legtöbb képet
mindennapi helyzetekben, közösen, vagy egymásnak készítettük. A privát
fotográfiát vettük alapul, ami megismételhetetlen pillanatok rögzítéséből,
azaz egyszerű dokumentációs szándékból építkezik. Az amatőr fotográfia
jellemzői az őszinte nyersesség, a közvetlenség, valamint a megörökítés
gesztusa, ezeketet használtuk mi is a #trashbook sorozat képein.

A könyvformátum a naplóvezetésre utal, ami szintén a privát szféra fontos
eleme. A képek hordozóiként szolgáló anyagokat mi magunk gyűjtöttük, majd
újrahasznosítottuk személyes pillanataink megörökítésére. Az unikális
felületeken megjelenő tárgyak és tárgyegyüttesek ezáltal illékonyságot és
megismételhetetlenséget sugároznak.”

A projekt a Trashbook-pályázat nyertes kiállításaként valósult meg.

A díj átadására 2018. február 24-én, szombaton 18 órakor kerül sor. Az
eseményre szeretettel várjuk a sajtó képviselőt. A díjat átadja: Biró Dávid
és Dobokay Máté.

#trashbook 2 - the new concept

During the preparation of the present exhibition, the authors, Dávid BIRÓ
and Máté DOBOKAY started to deal with the transitional spaces, especially
with act of moving. The first book was based on the private space commonly
used by the artists, while the collaborative work and the joint studio
environment is the starting point of the second. The current exhibition and
its booklets will be attachments to a future book. The display  - with its
possible incidentality or difference from the previous selection - are
continuing the original thread.



#trashbook - the original concept

‘In the dormitory we became roommates and we began to deal with the objects
of our everyday life; self-generated objects have been captured in our
environment. Most of the images were taken in everyday situations, either
together or for each other. Our starting point was private photography what
is recording unrepeatable moments with the intent of the simple
documentation. Amateur photography is characterized by sincere vagueness,
immediacy, and the gesture of capture, so we used these in the photos of
the #trashbook series.

The book as a medium refers to the diary format, which is also an important
element of the private life. We have collected the various materials used
as carriers of the images and then recycled to capture our personal
moments. Thereby the objects and still lifes appearing on the unique
surfaces give rise to volatility and repetition. ‘
