A kortárs képzőművészeti szcénán gyakran jelenik meg valamilyen sportág
motívuma is. A Felezővonal c. kiállítás is ezt szándékozik megcélozni, azaz
olyan már meglévő, illetve újonnan készített kortárs képzőművészeti
alkotásokat mutat be, amelyek kifejezésmódjukkal kötődnek a sporthoz.



A játék, a szabályok, a versengés, a küzdés, a kitartás, a siker, avagy a
kudarc, a döntetlen-, illetve az egyenlő helyzetek, stb. nemcsak különböző
sportokkal foglalkozó emberek számára ismert fogalom, hanem a mindennapi,
és a mindenkori társadalmi életben is “népszerű” jelenség. A kiállítás
résztvevői is elsősorban ezeket a fogalmakat közelítik meg alkotásaikkal.

It is not unusual that the motif of some kind of sport appears in the
contemporary art scene. The Half-Way Line exhibition is aiming to showcase
such already existing or newly created works that, with their ways of
expression, are intertwined with sports.



The game, the rules, the race, the struggle, the endurance, the success or
the fail, drawn or equal situtations, etc. are not familiar concepts only
to sportsmen but phenomena „popular” in the everyday and everytime’s
society as well. Principally, the participants of the exhibition approach
these ideas with their creations.
