Az urbánus lét fragmentált természete, az identitásjelölő sajátosságok gyengülése, a stabilitást biztosító kulturális és ideológiai alapok megingása a városi élet elbizonytalanodását eredményezi.
A fenti felvetésekkel foglalkozó különböző hallgatói projektek alkotják a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem Barcsay-termében látható Bizonytalan terek című kiállítást, amely hét, különböző európai egyetem és művészeti akadémia együttműködésének eredménye és több mint ötven, Európából, Latin-Amerikából és Ázsiából származó helyi, Erasmus-, illetve vendéghallgató munkáit foglalja magába.
A kiállítás a Mapping the Local című kurzus szervezésében és rendezésében jött létre.

The fragmented nature of the urban condition, the tenuousness of the dominant markers of identity, financial austerity and the blurring of stabilizing ideological and cultural foundations adds uncertainty to city life. These issues are covered by the diverse projects that define the Spaces of Uncertainty exhibition presented in the Barcsay Hall of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. The work is the result of collaboration between seven fine art programs within European universities and art academies. It includes work by over fifty local, Erasmus and visiting students from Europe, Latin America and Asia.
The exhibition has been organized and curated by the Mapping the Local program at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
