Call for Papers

 

The subject of the publication is derived from the experience of the project

"Re-tooling Residencies", supposed to deal with mobility of art

professionals and the meanings the residency opportunities have, but we find

it crucial to recognize the issues with which general idea of mobility is

connected: the daily practice of learning, research, networking, labour,

time-related issues, and the forms of knowledge, experience and practice

exchange. The focus on Eastern Europe stems from the fact that we would be

interested to recognize the level of institutionalization and informality of

these phenomena - the work that is not done here. We imagine that it would

be valuable to look at it from cultural policies and social perspective, and

also - keeping it close to the lived experience. This is why we formed a

call for texts - to gather analysis and opinions, which we sure exist, but

haven't been collected under one umbrella. In the attachment you will find.
