*18.00 /3Pillér/ ? 3 Pillars - 20 éves az Első Magyar Látványtár *? The
First Hugarian Vision Store is 20 years old

Exhibition by:* Altorjai* Sándor, Jolán *Gross-Bettelheim* és
*Swierkiewitz* Róbert kiállítása

Bevezetés ? Introduction: a Látványtár 20 éve ? 20 years of the Vision Store

A kiállítást megnyitja ? The exhibition is opened by: *Pataki* Gábor
művészettörténész, a MTA Művészettörténeti Kutatóintézetének
igazgatóhelyettese ? art historian, the vice-director of the Art History

Our exhibition is the peaceful competition, or the peaceful cohabitation
of three separate exhibitions. It is the re-exhibition of pictures that
haven't been seen for a while. Most of them have not been seen by anyone
for 30-40 years, some ever.

*Altorjai *Sándor /1933-1979/: /Szegény Van Gogh és Gyagya bácsi ? Poor
Van Gogh and uncle Gyagya/

*Altorjai* Sándor sajnálatosan korán lezárult életműve a magyar
neoavantgárd egyik -- meglehetősen markáns -- csúcsát jelenti. A
szerzőtől néhány megrendítő erejű kép szerepel a volt trezor szigorú
terében. ? Sándor* Altorjai*'s life's work, which unfortunately
concluded early, represents one of the - highly distinctive - peak
achievements of Hugnarian neo-avantguard. A couple of jarringly powerful
pictures from the author were housed in the space of the former vault.

Jolán *Gross-Bettelheim* /1900-1972/: /New York -- Budapest, Rózsadomb/

Akárcsak Párizsban, Clevelandban, vagy New Yorkban, ugyanúgy Budapesten,
Clevelandban szigorú, puritán tárgyilagosság uralkodik a képein, New
Yorkban született munkáin megismerhetjük a tökéletessé/ /fejlesztett/
precizionizmust/. A Rózsadombon, 60 éves korán túl született megkapó
/őszikéiben/ gyönyörködhetünk, pihentető szelídségükbe feledkezve... A
kiállításon a New Yorkban készült, férfias megfogalmazású, nagy erejű
ipari tájai /rézkarcok és litográfiák/ szerepelnek, szembesítve,
ellenpontozva a rózsadombi csendes rajzok és pasztellek otthonos
puhaságával.

As in Paris, Cleveland, or New York, she painted and drew what she could
see from his window in Budapest as well, in her house on Rózsadomb. Her
work in Paris is characterized by strong expresivism, in Cleveland
strict, puritan matter of factness dominates her pictures, and in her
works created in New York we can recognize the perfected /precisionism/.
Her works from Rózsadomd, created past her 60th birthday, are
captivating fall landscapes that can get you lost in their restful
mildness.

*Swierkiewicz *Róbert: /E. E. Cummings/

írott verseit kívánjuk kiállítani a nagy pinceterem falain.
a Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeumban. Azóta csupán a sorozat néhány lapját
láthatta a közönség az Első Magyar Látványtár 2 tematikus kiállításán
/Írott képek és A tükör képei/ Diszelben.

The exhibit the poems of the American poet rewritten into 100x70cm
pictures on the walls of the basement hall. This series by
*Swierkiewicz* was completed in 1982, and promptly exhibited in the
Petőfi Museum of Literature. Since then only a few pages of the series
could be seen at two thematic exhibitions /Written Images and The Images
of the Mirror/ by the First Hungarian Vision Store.

*22:00 /Tzumo -- Emilio duo/*

*Tzumo* zongora ? piano, *Emilio* ének ? vocals

Zenei csemege, -- a Fugában ezúttal szokatlan helyszínen - a
könyvesboltban hallható intim muzsikálás zárja a Múzeumok Éjszakájának
jazz programját.* Tzumo* a modern és a tradícionális jazz nagyszerű
interpretálója, szerzője, alkotó kedvű improvizatőre és *Emilio*, akinek
meleg tónusú énekhangja mellett különleges beat-box éneklése is
külföldön is, *Tzumo* a Monk intézet ösztöndíjasaként Herbie *Hancock*
és Wayne *Shorter* tanítványa volt, *Emilio* és *Balogh* Roland *2010
márciusában megnyerték a Németországban Völklingenben megrendezett
nemzetközi **/Voice and/*/ Guitar/ jazz versenyt. Korábban 2001
szeptemberében *Oláh Tzumo* Árpád, *Emilio* és *Horváth Plutó* József
elnyerték Brüsszelben az év legjobb európai jazz zenekara díjat.

The jazz program of the Night of Museums concludes with a musical
delicacy - in an unusual location in FUGA - in the book store.

*Tzumo*, an excellent interpreter, writer and creative improviser of
modern and traditional jazz and *Emilio*, whose beat-boxing is as
thrilling as his warm-toned singing voice, evoke the sound of jazz and
moder fusion music as a duo for this concert. They both have great
achievements abroed as well, *Tzumo* studied under Herbie *Hancock* and
Wayne *Shorter* as a scholarship recipient of the Monk institution, in
March 2010 *Emilio* and Roland *Balogh* won the international /Voice and
Guitar/ jazz competition held in *Völklingen in Germany. In September
2010 *Árpád* Oláh Tzumo*, *Emilio* and József* Horváth Plutó* won the
Best European Jazz Band of the Year award in Brussels.
