The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo (ACT), Tokyo Japan
is accepting entries for its competition:

<Design Clock & Product Competition 2009>

A chance to commercialize your design and/or artwork with Takata Lemnos Inc.!

We had the first "Design Clock Competition" in 2008 and received more 
than 300 entries. We selected 5 winners and commercialized their 
designs with Takata Lemnos Inc. This year, we are calling artists to 
design the clock as well as many different products. Takata Lemnos 
Inc. is seeking
a design and artwork for the design clocks and also seeking 
interesting ideas for their new product line.

There are three different application types (Type A, Type B, Type C).
You can choose either or several of them.

<Eligibility>
The competition is open to everyone, 18 year old or older. Work must 
be original and shouldn't have been commercialized with other 
companies in the past.

<Award>
*TYPE A
- Takata Lemnos Inc. will produce the winners' design clocks and 
distribute them in the market.
- Winners will make a contract with Takata Lemnos Inc. and receive 3% 
loyalty of the wholesale price from the sales.
- A final product will be provided to the winners.

*TYPE B & C
Takata Lemnos Inc. will discuss the possibilities to commercialize 
the selected designs with the selected winners. We promise the 
selected winners to provide a chance to work as official designers 
for the Lemnos and make a future collaborations. We will present the 
winners on our website too.

October 2nd (Fri), 2009: Entries due
October 9th (Fri), 2009: Notification of acceptance (First Stage)
October 16nd (Fri), 2009: Data File to enter the Second Stage due
November 24th (Tue) - 29th (Sun) 2009: Exhibition Period (Second Stage)
December 6th (Sun), 2009: Notification of the final winners

*TYPE B & C
October 23rd (Fri), 2009: Entries due
October 30th (Fri), 2009: Notification of acceptance (First Stage)
November 13th (Fri), 2009: Data File to enter the Second Stage due
November 24th (Tue) - 29th (Sun) 2009: Exhibition Period (Second Stage)
December 6th (Sun), 2009: Notification of the final winners
