Robin Tarbet: Kozvetett taj

Megnyitja: Polyak Levente kritikus, urbanista

Terepasztal a galeriaban: szamitogep-alkatreszekbol felepitett varosi 
taj, ipari epuletek kozt szalado vonat. Helyek, amelyeken mindig csak 
atmegyunk, ahol nincsenek megallok, lehetosegek, kapcsolatok; 
ismerhetjuk oket, de nem koszonnek vissza, elmennek mellettunk, ahogy a 
vonatablakbol utanuk nezunk.
Nehany (nem is keves) ujrahasznositott alkatresz, egy apro kamera, es a 
radiohullamokon tovabbitott kep, amin - viszonyitasi pontok nelkul - a 
liliputi varos egeszen meretesnek tunik. Persze csak addig, amig a vonat 
kamerajanak objektivje ele nem hajol valaki, akinek jelenlete (ujra) 
feje tetejere forditja az aranyokat: nem is mi ulunk a vonaton, oriasok 
lettunk, kivulallok.

Opening Speech by: Levente Polyak critic, urbanist

Places what we always only pass through, where there are no stops, no 
possibilities, no connections. We may know them, but they never greet 
us, just pass us by as we lean out of the train’s window.
Then it suddenly clears up, the city is recognizable, and it’s not us 
sitting on the train, there is no direction and no perspective, we’ve 
become giants, outsiders.
