A Nyílt Struktúrák Művészeti Egyesület - röviden OSAS - két és fél éve 
alakult, alapítói a konstruktív-geometrikus művészet idős és jeles 
képviselői Konok, Hetey, Gáyor, Haraszty, Maurer, Nádler, Haász, a 
Párizsban élő Vera Molnar, Judit Nemes valamint Szöllösi-Nagy gyűjtő, N. 
Mészáros Júlia, a győri Városi Művészeti Múzeum igazgatója valamint 
Prosek Zoltán, a Paksi Képtár vezetője.

Az egyesület megalakulása óta rendez tematikus kiállításokat a 
Szépművészeti Múzeum Vasarely Múzeumában. Eddigi témák többek között: 
fény és mozgás, valós és virtuális, eleven szín, fekete-fehér, 
konceptualitás.

A jelen *Konstruktív-konkrét kerestetik* 1. c. kiállításon

régebbi és új munkáit mutatjuk be. Ezekben a művekben aligha lelhetők 
fel a konkrét művészet 1930-as években megfogalm,azott szigorú 
irányelvei. Nem is ezeket várjuk tőlük, hanem azt, ami a mai 
szemléletből, emberi alapállásból, az inkább kutató, mint üdvöt ígérő 
jellegből fakadóan tágíthatja a konstruktív-konkrét alkotás fogalmát és 
körét. Az egymástól igen különböző gondolati területekről származó 
műveket az összefoglaló cím újraértelmezi, ugyanakkor felerősíti a művek 
autonóm valóságosságát.

The Open Structures Art Society was established two and a half years 
ago. Its founders are prominent senior Hungatian representatives of 
constuctive geometric art: Konok, Hetey, Gáyor, Haraszty, Maurer, 
Nádler, Haász, Paris-based Vera Molnar and Judith Nemes, further Júlia 
N. Mészáros, Director of the Municipal Art Museum of Győr and Zoltán 
Prosek, leader of the Paks Art Gallery.

The Society has been organising since its existence thematic geometric 
exhibitions in the Vasarely Museum ehich belongs to the Museum of Fine 
Arts, Budapest. Topics have until now included: light and movement, real 
and virtual, living colour, white&black, and conceptuality.

The current exhibition Constructive-Concret Wanted 1. fetures fresh and 
older pieces from younger Hungarian artists

These works scarcely reveal any traces of the strict principles of 
concrete art as articulated in the 1930s. Nor do we call artists to 
account for them. Rather, we expect that which can, from today's 
perspective and basic human stanpoint, expand the concept and sphere of 
constructive-concrete artwork by virtue of its research-oriented - 
rather than salvation-promising - nature. The title that represents the 
works, which have originated from various field of thought, reinterprets 
and enhances the autonomous realness of the pieces.
