Moving Image Lab at B3 Media, London 28th Oct - 2nd Nov 2007

B3 and Mediamatic are organizing a 5-day workshop about audiovisual
projects for current digital media.

The workshop participants use their own footage and ideas to design
and prototype a project for the media blend of their choice. The
workshop is very hands -on- all participants are assisted personally
in realizing their projects by smart technical assistants and
far-sighted coaches.

Workshop approach:
The workshop has an intense pressure-cooker style in which the
participants get a view on current cultural and technical developments
in digital media: from podcasting to streaming media, from
participatory web 2.0 projects to the various uses of mobile phones.
All participants design their own projects, discuss it with peers and
experienced trainers and build their own working prototype.
The workshop begins with an opening symposium, where renowned makers
deliver their views on workshop related topics and present their
projects. All following workshop sessions take place at the inspiring
B3 premises. Workshop results will be presented and discussed at ICA
again.

Trainers/Assistants:

documentaries (see www.thalhofer.com) is the original builder of the
Korsakow System. Florian currently teaches at the University of

the Arts, Berlin, and experienced coach in the Mediamatic databased
