Postgraduate Studentship in Cultural Industries
 
Applications are requested from candidates with Masters or equivalent in a related subject area for a scholarship in a dynamic school set to move into a new performance venue on the central Leeds campus in September 2007. PCI are engaged in a number of projects involving an active collaboration with cultural organizations, policy agencies and creative businesses in Leeds and across the region. They have many international links and networks, and form part of a Faculty covering design, music, communications, fine arts and cultural studies. 
 
Opportunities exist to develop the PhD in a number of directions, including international networks, creative labour, innovation and knowledge transfer, urban clusters and networks. 
 
This three year scholarship will consist of full UK/EU fees (or an equivalent contribution towards international fees) and a £5000 annual bursary. It comes with 3 hours teaching per week.
