*About C:Art:Media:*
* The C:Art:Media programme is situated in the city of Goteborg, Sweden.
It is run as a collaboration between Valand School of Fine Arts and the
IT University of Goteborg.
* Both students with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Fine Arts
Degree, or the equivalent, are encouraged to apply.
* The C:Art:Media programme can result in either a Master of Fine Arts
or a Master of Science, depending on the nature of the individual
student's exam work.
* C:Art:Media is tuition free.
* The main emphasis of the C:Art:Media programme is the student's own
projects, as more than half of the credits consists of project courses.
Much care is taken to provide individual tutoring and assistance for
each student.
* C:Art:Media is not a media-specific programme in the sense that it is
required to work with digital tools in the student's projects, even
though the teaching specifically focuses on the use of digital tools and
its contexts.
* All teaching is conducted in English, and proficiency in both oral and
written English is required.
* C:Art:Media is closely linked to PhD level studies, through its
collaboration with the practice-based research area Digital
Representation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Goteborg University. It is a
distinct aim for the C:Art:Media programme to provide a recruiting base
for postgraduate studies in digital media.
* The course documents of C:Art:Media comply to the EU standards as
outlined by the "Bologna Process"
